Collins Voted at Least a Dozen Times to Blow Open Medicare “Donut Hole,” Which Would Send Drug Costs Soaring for Maine Seniors

AARP had a clear message for Senator Susan Collins: do not “misuse” our name or logo. The organization spoke out after it was featured in the latest misleading ad from Senator Collins’ campaign, stating “AARP continually monitors the misuse of its name or logo in any political advertising. AARP does not endorse candidates and does not make contributions to political campaigns or candidates.”

The truth is that when it comes to issues that matter to older Mainers, like bringing down prescription drug costs, Senator Collins has repeatedly sided with Mitch McConnell and special interests like Big Pharma, casting at least a dozen votes that would cost Maine seniors millions of dollars in higher drug costs.
