Augusta, Maine – This morning, Susan Collins applauded Donald Trump during a post-election breakfast at the White House as she and Washington Republicans continue to keep the government shut down rather than protect affordable health care. Collins was caught just two weeks ago cashing on her loyalty to Trump for a MAGA swag bag.

Collins votes with Trump 96% of the time,
Collins serves as a “regular deciding vote” on “important Republican policies” and nominations.
Collins continues to vote against a bill that would protect more than 50,000 Mainers who are now seeing their insurance premiums skyrocket as open enrollment begins and ahead of ACA tax credits expiring.
REMINDER: If the Collins and Republicans have their way and ACA tax credits are not extended, Mainers’ insurance premiums could “double, triple or even quadruple.” In some scenarios, families could see rates skyrocket by 412%.
Susan Collins “has yet to sponsor” any legislation to extend the tax credits despite Maine state officials warning action had to be taken before September 30th.
