As House gears up to vote on releasing Epstein files, Collins already showed Mainers where she stands

Augusta, Maine – As the U.S. House gears up to vote on releasing the Epstein files tomorrow, Susan Collins already made clear where she stands. Months ago, Collins voted to block an amendment demanding the release of the Epstein files, choosing to shield the files as Donald Trump faced ongoing scrutiny over his relationship with Epstein.

At the time, Collins blocking the Epstein files release came as Collins was also caught on video running away from reporter questions about Trump’s handling of the Epstein files.

A poll has found 89% of Mainers believe the Trump administration should release all documents related to the Epstein case.

Maine Democratic Party spokesperson Tommy Garcia:
“When it comes to the Epstein files, Susan Collins already made clear she has the backs of the rich and powerful, not victims and the American people. No matter what Collins and the Senate does next, Mainers will know that when Collins first had the chance she fell in line with her party bosses and ignored the will of Maine voters who broadly support the release of these files.”
