In honor of Veterans Day, MDP Chair Bev Uhlenhake released the following statement of gratitude:
“Today we honor all those who have served in the United States Armed Forces, in times of war and in peace. It is through the duty and sacrifice of American servicemembers that our Nation is kept safe and our most basic freedoms are secured, and we are grateful to them for all that they have given on behalf of their country and their fellow citizens. Maine has a strong heritage of military service, and the Maine Democratic Party is committed to fighting for the best possible care and support for our Maine veterans and military families.”
