With President Biden projected to win Maine’s Democratic Primary, Maine Democratic Party Chair Bev Uhlenhake released the following statement of congratulations:
“I am proud to congratulate President Joe Biden on winning today’s Maine Democratic primary contest. President Biden has delivered for Mainers in the form of more than 18,000 jobs added to Maine’s economy, over 200 infrastructure projects funded through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and the capping of prescription drug costs for over 200,000 Maine seniors as part of the Inflation Reduction Act. This is just the beginning of what real leadership can accomplish for the American people, and the Maine Democratic Party is ready to work to re-elect a President who will continue to deliver for all Mainers.”
