Following the news that Vice President Mike Pence will visit Hermon on Monday, Maine Democratic Party Executive Director Lisa Roberts released the following statement:
“When Mike Pence rolls through Bangor next week to stump for his boss, he still won’t have an answer for how more than 215,000 Americans have died from COVID-19 on President Trump’s watch, or whether he has a plan to prevent Trump from going down as the worst jobs president in history. And he definitely won’t be able to explain why he and Trump are ramping up their efforts in the middle of a pandemic to take away health coverage from nearly 100,000 Mainers with their lawsuit to overturn the Affordable Care Act. Maine voters are tired of Trump and Pence’s broken promises, and they’re ready to send Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to the White House.”
