Lisa moved to Maine when she was 10 when her parents joined the faculty at the University of Southern Maine. She grew up in Yarmouth, and after graduating from Yarmouth High School, she attended Mount Holyoke College and earned a degree in history and politics. She went on to earn a Master’s in urban planning from New York University with a specialization in economic development and housing policy. 

Lisa recently moved back to Maine from New Jersey where she worked in the non-profit affordable and senior housing fields. From 2008-2012, Lisa was a grassroots political organizer running and managing campaigns across the country. In 2008 she was the Campaign Director for a grassroots operations on behalf of the DNC in Los Angeles, CA; she built a team of over 100 full-time staff and raised over $1M for the party. In 2012, Lisa was the Campaign Director on behalf of Organizing for America (OFA) Las Vegas, orchestrating voter registration, mobilization, persuasion and turnout efforts.

Lisa has also directed various issue-based campaigns on behalf of groups like the ACLU, Repower America, Planned Parenthood, and Amnesty International. In 2018, Lisa joined the Maine Democratic Party and was promoted to the role of Coordinated Campaign Field Director by the end of the campaign. As Field Director, she implemented and managed the organizing strategy that yielded historic Democratic victories throughout the state.

Lisa currently lives in West Gardiner and is eager to build off the momentum from 2018 and ensure continued electoral success of the Party at the local, state, and federal levels of government.
