With only 19 days to the Republican filing deadline and less than one week until Maine’s presidential primary, Senator Susan Collins is attending soirees in Washington, DC and continuing to dodge a key question from her constituents: Is she voting for Donald Trump?

Senator Collins has a history of ducking important questions from Mainers and has refused to hold a town hall for more than 20 years. In January, Maine Democrats submitted more than 500 questions to Senator Collins’ office from people all over the state who are fed up with having a Senator who isn’t accessible or accountable to the people of Maine.

Now, Mainers want to know: Will Senator Collins vote to reelect Trump?

Though Collins refuses to come clean, her record of support for the president is obvious:

1) According to CQ, Senator Collins voted with Donald Trump 94% of the time.

2) Senator Collins has been a key vote for Donald Trump on everything from the tax plan that gave corporations and the wealthy trillions in tax breaks to the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh and every one of Trump’s judicial nominees in 2017 and 2018 -- even those “deemed unqualified by the American Bar Association.”  She joined with Mitch McConnell to acquit Trump in the impeachment trial, after voting 12 times against including witnesses and evidence.

3) Donald Trump has said he's 100% behind Senator Collins' reelection

4) Staffers for the president’s reelection campaign “worked to get her on the ballot” by collecting signatures door-to-door and at Trump events.

It’s past time for Senator Collins to tell Mainers who she’s voting for this year.
