(BATH, MAINE) -- On Tuesday, June 24th at 5:00 p.m., the public is invited to attend the Grand Opening of the Victory 2008 Bath Democratic Coordinated Campaign Office.

The office is the hub for Sagadahoc County voters wishing to get information on Democratic candidates or volunteer to support Democrats in the 2008 election.

Victory 2008, the Coordinated Campaign for the Maine Democratic Party, already has organized to a greater depth than in any other election season in Maine history. The campaign currently employs a staff of 50 people statewide, and has a goal to open at least one office in every county by July.

The public and media are invited to meet with the staff and volunteers who will be working from this office to bring about historic change in November.

WHAT:     Grand Opening of Victory 2008 Bath Coordinated Campaign Office

WHEN:     Tuesday, June 24, 2008: 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., followed by monthly meeting of the Sagadahoc County
                Democrats, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
 
WHO:       Peter Chandler, Campaign Director for Victory 2008; Mark Henson, Field Director for Victory 2008;
                Eloise Vitelli, Chair of the Sagadahoc County Democrats; state legislators, volunteers, and staff.
