5/7/2010 - Maine Dems Rapid Response: Mainers Lost in Republican Debate
PORTLAND- As the Republican Candidates for governor debate at the Portland Exposition Building, Democrats responded in real time. This evening, the GOP hopefuls for Governor continued to squabble while overlooking critical questions about their records.
"Our seven responses tonight highlighted inconsistencies, contradictions and even flip-flops, while confirming that these Republicans are ill-equipped to serve as Maine's next Governor. The Republican candidates continue to dodge questions and exaggerate their experience while failing to answer the most important question-- why should you be our next Governor?" said Arden Manning, Campaign Manager for Victory 2010.
