Day 2 of the convention surely did not disappoint! A surprise visit to the delegation by DNC chair and former presidential candidate Howard Dean clearly set the stage for the day. Dean spoke of the importance of electing Tom Allen over Susan Collins to the United States Senate, and said he knew that everyone is working hard at the grassroots to make that happen on Nov. 4th.
Hillary Clinton of course, was the top headliner yesterday. She emphasized her strong support for Barack Obama and spoke of critical issues like health care and education and the economy. She said loud and clear that Obama is the person to lead that change we so desperately need.
All eyes will be on Maine tonight when Rep. Tom Allen takes the stage between 7 and 7:30 ET to address the Convention.
